The International Congress of Renewable Energy will be the main Congress event of the GREENPOWER fair. It will be the biggest international event concerning the renewable energy sector in 2009 in Poland.

The Congress will host the highest representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, representatives of the Polish, the European and world RES organizations, ministers of the EU Member States, the highest representatives of the Polish Government and the Parliament, representatives of local government units, representatives of the European research institutions and above all the representatives of the biggest Polish, European and world companies operating in this sector.

Accompanying events

1. „Green rooms" - run by the biggest Polish economic chambers associated in the Polish RES Coordination Board, where representatives of the chambers will organize meetings with investors - during all Fair days.
2. The 2^nd Forum of the Solar Power Industry and The European Solar  Day - on 21 May 2009.
3. The announcement of the results of the Polish national RES competition for the youth - on 21 May 2009.
