Enea Operator is building a new power station with the development of RES in mind

Enea Operator is implementing another investment as part of the #Poznań2030 energy network modernization program. The investment will include the construction of a new 110/15 kV Szczepankowo substation with connections. The new station will contribute to the development of renewable energy in Poznań and the surrounding area - the possibility of connecting renewable energy sources will increase.

At the end of last year, Enea Operator handed over to the contractor the construction site where a new power station is being built - the Main Supply Point (GPZ) Szczepankowo. The GPZ will be located in the south-western part of Poznań, right next to the "Krzesiny" road junction on the A2 motorway. The investment also includes the construction of high-voltage 110 kV cable lines necessary to power the station, as well as the construction of connections between medium-voltage lines and the already existing power grid.

Enea Operator only in the first three quarters of 2022 connected over 36 thousand. renewable energy sources with a total capacity of over 670 MW. Currently, more than 150,000 are connected to the Enea Operator network. distributed sources with a capacity of over 3.7 GW.

The total value of the investment is almost PLN 26 million. The project was co-financed from the European Cohesion Fund under Measure 1.1. Supporting the production and distribution of energy from renewable sources of the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020. The amount of co-financing is over PLN 10.6 million. Completion of the construction of GPZ Szczepankowo is planned at the turn of 2023 and 2024.
